Authentic Deli Favorites
A Milwaukee institution since 1955, Jake's is the place in town to find authentic deli favorites, including our famous hot hand cut Corned Beef and Pastrami.
The original Jake’s building located in Milwaukee has stood for well over 100 years. It first operated as a butcher shop that opened around 1903, and thrived for many years in a predominantly Jewish neighborhood on Milwaukee’s north side. In 1955, Jake Levin bought the deli from Ruben Cohen and it officially became Jake’s.

About Us

Testimonials
"If you want authentic New York deli, this is the place to go. The Reuben sandwiches are piled high with corned beef, sauerkraut, thousand Island dressing, and Swiss cheese. The Rye-bread is very rustic, and complements the sandwich. Other sandwiches are available, but I would recommend the Ruben. Chips are Jake's brand, and everything is served with a nice kosher pickle. They even have matzoh ball soup. Get there early, because the soup runs out fast. Very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get."
